3) The videos for this show are encoded in H.264. What are you even talking about? All other releases are H.265/HEVC.
4) When I do my own encodes, I’m free to use whatever codecs and techniques I feel are right. You have no control over that â why would you, lol?

AV1 blurs everything and the web versions are already more than small enough. If you’re gonna do a hyper compressed version, just do that as an alternative, don’t force people to view hyper compressed shit.
When 2 episodes in 1080p is almost half the size of a single episode you did in 576p, you know you’re doing something seriously wrong. AV1 is meant for 30-50% reduction in size for the same resolution and everything, not this crazy amount. It shows that you have absolutely 0 idea of what you are doing. But even then, AV1 is shit for this, it should be an alt version, not the only source.
And before you say “Just grab some other torrent”, there isn’t much to pick from, especially in terms of web versions.
